Three engagements across financial services, healthcare, and capital markets. Real scope, real delivery, anonymised clients.
A Fortune 500 global payments platform needed two things simultaneously: existing dashboards updated to reflect seasonality trends that the business had never been able to visualise before, and three entirely new dashboards built from scratch to surface data from a third-party data utility, a metadata management platform, and a consolidated third-party data view. The data preparation underpinning these dashboards was being handled manually — a process that could not scale with reporting demand.
Six dashboards delivered across two workstreams — three redesigned with seasonality trend analytics (year-over-year, quarter-over-quarter, month-over-month, week-over-week) and three net-new dashboards built to production standard. Alteryx workflows automated the data preparation process that had previously required manual intervention before each reporting cycle.
A national radiology network was running its entire Tableau environment on a single production server. No development environment. No disaster recovery. Every configuration change, upgrade, or troubleshooting session was performed directly in production — meaning any issue was immediately a complete service outage with no fallback. The environment had also grown without performance tuning, and server-side bottlenecks were creating delays in clinical reporting that the team had normalised.
Production environment assessed, optimised, and reconfigured for high availability. Two additional environments — development and disaster recovery — built and configured on the latest Tableau Server release. All three environments set up in HA configuration with proper backup automation, SSO/SAML authentication, and security hardening. Server administrators trained and handed documentation sufficient to manage the environments independently.
A national exchange operator had deployed Tableau but was operating well below the platform's capability. Administrators had no visibility into server health, resource utilisation, or workload patterns — issues were discovered reactively, after users reported problems. Data preparation was manual, with no scheduled flows. The data catalogue was non-existent, meaning analysts had no way to discover or assess trust in available data assets. The platform was a tool, not a managed analytics environment.
Full deployment of Tableau Server Management Add-on, including Resource Monitoring Tool installation and configuration — giving the admin team real-time visibility into server performance, incident alerting, and workload patterns for the first time. Data Management Add-on deployed with Tableau Catalog activated, providing organisation-wide data lineage and asset discovery. Prep Conductor enabled for scheduled flow execution. Self-service analytics strategy and tool governance framework documented and embedded.
